This is my room, one week after moving back from school.
Tonight I have a test in Astronomy. Today at lunch I decided I am not going to study. Last night in the middle of class I made a public decree that the two guys in the back needed to stop talking because it was distracting me from fully appreciating Newton's Laws. The British Teacher thanked me and the Asian Boy applauded me. Later, I was a little worried I would get jumped on my way to the parking lot.
This afternoon I got a job for a catering agency and wore a tie for the first time ever. Last week, I missed an interview because I didn't know how to tie a tie properly. Or at all. I tried to look it up online, but that was no good.
Most days when I am not working or going to school (there have been 3 of those so far), I lie in the hammock in the backyard and read.
Tomorrow morning I will play with asian babies and guard their aquatic lives, maintaining strict vigilance all the while.
2 Cor 12:9 (NRSV) but he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness." So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
